Formulated to require minimal digestive capabilities for maximum tolerance in diseases or conditions that alter normal gastrointestinal function.
Formula is an effective alternative to TPN.
Ready-to-feed formula that is low in fat with only 6% of calories from long-chain triglycerides (LCT) and 40% of fat is easily digested medium-chain triglycerides (MCT).
Meets or exceeds 100% of the recommended requirements for all vitamins and minerals (except chloride) in 1.5 liters or 6 cans.
Caloric distribution: protein, 10%; fat, 10%; carbohydrate 70%.
Water content: 212 mL/250 mL.
Osmolality: 630 mOsm/kg water

Shake well. May be stored unopened at room temperature.
Once opened, formula should be covered and refrigerated; discard if not used within 24 hours.
Avoid contamination during preparation and use. Avoid freezing.
Tube feeding:
Use under medical supervision.
Adjust flow rate volume and dilution according to patient's condition and tolerance.
Provide additional water as needed to meet patient's fluid requirements.
Oral feeding:
If consumed orally, mix each can with 1 packet of Vivonex Flavor Packet.
Select from 2 flavors: orange-pineapple and raspberry.
