It helps to exfoliate dead  skin. Some research suggests that glycolic acid products may actually help suppress sun-induced redness following ultraviolet exposure.

DIRECTIONS:
Dry or brittle nails can be alleviated by applying Aqua Glycolicr Hand and Body lotion directly to the nails after soaking them in warm water for five minutes.

WARNINGS:
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, or mucous membranes. Keep out of the reach of children. If redness, irritation or excessive stinging develops, wash off, discontinue use and consult your physician. Do not use this product on irritated skin.
